What is TISAX certification?
TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment eXchange) represents a cutting-edge evaluation model, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the automotive sector. Accredited by the prestigious ENX Consortium (an organization that brings together leading automobile manufacturers, suppliers, and four national automotive industry associations), it primarily applies to first and second-tier suppliers but can be extended to more complex supply chains.
The main objectives are:
- Establish a standardized level of security for the automotive sector (based on the VDA-ISA model).
- Facilitate recognition of assessments, thereby reducing costs, efforts, and complexity for manufacturers and suppliers (assessment results can be shared with potential clients without the need for repeated assessments).
- Ensure comparability and quality of assessments.
- Promote the exchange of best practices and lessons learned.
- Allow participants to control the disclosure of results and the level of detail shared.
