Research & Development
(required: master’s degree in electronic engineering or master’s degree in mechatronics engineering)
The resource will enhance the existing R&D team.
He/she will support the team in analysing systems, developing new products and solutions in the field of testing, manufacturing process and analysis & control software. In general, he/she will handle the global progress of the company technological know-how.
In case of need, he/she will also assist proactively the Engineering Department in developing particularly sophisticated design solutions and in solving possible issues.
Commissioning Engineer
(required: master’s degree in electronic engineering or master’s degree in mechatronics engineering)
The resource will manage the machine commissioning, following its construction at SIMPRO premises, and its installation and set-up at the Customers’ site. The commissioning activity involves both the functional elements of the machine (handling, automation, system control) and the testing cycles of the product (definition of testing sequences, data analysis and approval limits, management of reports).
Given the multidisciplinary nature of the job, a propensity for continuous training, as well as teamwork and interaction with customers, is essential.
A good knowledge of the French language as well as of LabView and Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal programming languages, a good familiarity with ECU calibration environments such as Vector CANoe and Etas Inca, and an in-depth knowledge of the operation of vehicle components (gearboxes, thermal or e-powertrains, battery modules) are preferable.
Project Manager (French/English language)
(required: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in management engineering)
The resource will be included within the Program Department.
He/she will manage the contract, ensuring its correct execution towards the customer on the basis of the acquired job orders. He/she will organize the order activity, from starting to completion of the same, preparing the schedules and updating them periodically. He/she will deal with the problems that may arise during the development of the order, mediating among customers, suppliers and internal company departments.
He/she will monitor the costs (in terms of work hours, materials and services) necessary for the construction, installation and assistance of the machinery, with the aim of respecting the economic objectives set at the opening of the order.
LabView software developer
The resource will be included within the department involved in developing (in LabView environment) control, supervision and measurement systems of test benches for engines, motors, battery modules for electrical or hybrid vehicles, as well as control systems for railway test rigs (roller test benches, pantograph test benches, etc.)
PLC and Robot software developer
The ideal profile is that of a young engineer interested in the development of software packages for PLC’s and operator panels for automated systems.
This activity shall entail a quite constant presence on site for developing and commissioning the software on the machine manufactured in our company, as well as at the Customer’s site during the final stage of the project. Further tasks may include the programming of industrial robots supplied by the major manufacturers working in the automotive industry.
Due to the teamwork and the natural exposure to contact with customers, good interpersonal and collaborative skills are essential.
A natural propensity to solve problems, flexibility and knowledge of programming languages such as LabView NI (National Instruments), C, and Visual Basic, are characteristics and requirements that complete the ideal profile.
Safety engineer for system certification
The resource will be responsible for assessing the conformity of the machines produced with the certification requirements (safety of machinery), as well as for drafting the relevant technical documentation.
